ABOUT THE EVENT
Women in Aviation Aerospace Australia (WA/AA) and RMIT University for a special event during Avalon Airshow 2023.
At this event, you will hear about a unique initiative. WA/AA and RMIT have sponsored a short film paying tribute to the real stories of female pioneers who defied the status quo and fought to become the first generation of female airline pilots.
You will experience a snippet of this film – Breaking Glass – and hear firsthand from the filmmakers.
The event will be hosted by the Director of the RMIT Aviation Academy – Lea Vesic – and you will also hear a panel discussion featuring Lea and other female members of the RMIT Flight School.
RMIT has been a longstanding partner of Aviation/Aerospace Australia and we look forward to seeing you at this debut event.
