You are invited to join us one month ahead of INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY to celebrate the achievements of women in STEM and aerospace.

HIDDEN FIGURES is the incredible untold story of Katherine Johnson (Taraji P. Henson), Dorothy Vaughn (Octavia Spencer) and Mary Jackson (Janelle Monae) – brilliant women working at NASA, who served as the brains behind one of the greatest operations in History: the launch of astronaut John Glenn into orbit, a stunning achievement that resorted the nation’s confidence, turned around the Space Race, and galvanised the world. The visionary trio crossed all gender and race lines to inspire generations to dream big.

This is an opportunity for like minded professionals to enjoy a screening of the movie together in good company and before the movie is publicly released in Australia. To make the event a little like a movie premier we have arranged arrival drinks and canapés for a pre-screening networking session. Women in A/AA also see this movie as an opportunity to inspire the next generation so you may consider bringing a mentee, your daughter or a young woman studying aviation to encourage them to kick start their year on a positive note. A special discounted rate for mentees is available to Women in A/AA members.
