Nikki Keating

Head of Strategy, Partnerships & Communications

Nikki Keating has taken the role of Head of Strategy, Partnerships & Communications with a background in Communications and Community Engagement Specialist. Nikki worked in Journalism and Editing with organisations such as News Corp and ABC News, before moving to Victoria in 2016 to complete her studies. Nikki holds a Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Queensland and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Arts (Politics & International Relations) from the University of Melbourne.

From 2017 to 2019 Nikki lead United Voice’s campaign ‘Respect is the Rule’ pledging hospitality venues in Victoria to zero tolerance harassment policies, before helping create Australia’s first online hospitality Union, Hospo Voice, in 2019. In 2020 Nikki co-founded The Consent Blueprints, a consent education and consultancy partnership. Nikki was nominated as a Leading Female in Hospitality in 2021, has worked with Tracey Spicer on ‘Challenging the Culture’ on Australia’s #MeToo movement and features in Victoria Midwinter Pitt’s production ‘I’m With Her’ alongside women such as former PM Julia Gillard, Professor Marcia Langton AM, Foundation Chair of Australian Indigenous Studies at the University of Melbourne, and counter-terrorism expert, Labor MP Dr. Anne Aly.

Nikki joined the A/AA team in 2022 and has taken on the role of Events and Communications and moved to the Head of Strategy, Partnerships & Communications in 2023.
