SPACE MISSION 2040: Grade 2 Competition 

 

Through our SPACE MISSION 2040 competition for Grade 2 students, Women in A/AA is reaching the next generation of aviation, aerospace and space professionals with fantastic resources. A/AA is pleased to be offering activities to primary school students to support the future pipeline of talent for the whole industry.

Women in A/AA invite all schools from across the country to participate in SPACE MISSION 2040. 

During Term 3 lesson packs will be provided including paper plane folding and throwing, storytime from space and listening to the Four Forces of Flight 10 minute webinar delivered by Stephanie McCollough, a graduate Aerospace Engineer from RMIT University and a Space Careers video. Links on each of these can be found below. 

During the term, diverse teams of three have the opportunity to create their own spacecraft to rescue their friend's family from Venus.
