Introducing: 

Lee de Winton
Chief Executive Officer, Sydney Metro Airports 

Lee de Winton joined Sydney Metro Airports (Bankstown and Camden) as Chief Executive Officer in April 2017, taking on responsibility for a significant aviation and property portfolio that includes over 200,000 flights each year and a customer base of more than 100 companies.

 Lee is an experienced business leader and manager. She brings an understanding of strategy and execution to all her roles, developed through experience in consulting, transformation and as a senior military officer.

 With vast expertise as a strategic business leader in aviation safety, operations, airworthiness and emergency response management, Lee also brings with her demonstrated transformation experience and a deep understanding of the aviation industry from establishment to logistic sustainment.

 After working as a senior military officer, Lee left the Air Force in April 2015 to take up the role of Head of Freight Operations at Qantas. Leading a team of Cargo Terminal Operations. 

 In 2012, the then WGCDR de Winton was the winner of the Telstra Australian Business Woman of the Year (NSW Community and Government Category). 

 Lee is a graduate of Britannia Royal Naval College, Dartmouth, the Australian Institute of Company Directors and holds a Master of Arts (Strategy and Management) from UNSW.

 

Scott Watkins 
General Manager of ACE Training Centre, Toll

Scott Watkins joined the Australian Regular Army in July 1992 and after spending 18 months at the Royal Military College - Duntroon, graduated as an Infantry Officer.  His first posting was to Holsworthy where he served as a Mechanised Infantry Platoon Commander.

In 1996, Scott was selected for pilot training, which he subsequently commenced in 1997 and completed in July 1998. He was posted to Darwin for three and a half years and flew Bell 206B-1 Kiowa helicopters. Scott also deployed on an operational tour of Bougainville and two tours of East Timor.

Scott left the Army in 2016, joining Toll Helicopters as the Operations Manager for the NSW Helicopter Emergency Medical Service contract. In late 2017, Scott accepted a promotion into his current position as the manager of the Aeromedical Crewing Excellence (ACE) Training Centre.

 

Diane Tremain
Head of Marketing, Media and Sponsorship, Toll Helicopters 

Diane Tremain is Head of Marketing, Media and Sponsorship at Toll Helicopters and has been with the organisation for three years as part of the initial team to mobilise the NSW Health Contract and provide Aeromedical Rescue Helicopter Services in Southern NSW and ACT.   With eight brand new AW139’s across four bases in Sydney, Canberra, Orange and Wollongong, the service commenced on January 10, 2017 and is tasked with over 2500+ missions each year.
