Aviation/Aerospace Australia Inspires the Next Generation at Open Days Across Australia
Aviation/Aerospace Australia (A/AA) has continued its commitment to building Australia's future workforce by participating in a series of major career and community events over the past week, connecting with hundreds of students, job seekers and families to showcase the exciting opportunities available across the aviation, aerospace and space sectors.
Representatives from A/AA attended Monash University Open Day, Cairns Airport Open Day, and the ACT Careers Expo, engaging with prospective students and career changers eager to learn more about the diverse pathways into one of Australia's most innovative and rapidly evolving industries.
Across each event, the A/AA team spoke with attendees about the wide range of careers available: from pilots, engineers and maintenance technicians to cybersecurity specialists, sustainability professionals, space scientists, air traffic management experts and emerging technology innovators. Visitors also learned about education pathways, apprenticeships, scholarships and the industry's growing demand for skilled professionals.
