Members show strong interest in GreenSkies

Signficiant interest continues in sustainability

During August and September 2025, A/AA released expressions of interest to join three working groups:

• Awareness, Skills & Training
• Infrastructure & Supply Chain
• Emerging Technologies

With over 50 EOIs received, A/AA has selected approximately 30 persons to join these groups. They come from a range of backgrounds, genders and experience levels. Successful members are progressively being contacted. It is also excellent to see the reach of interest with airlines, manufacturers, universities, operators, climate change specialistsm and government sectors all expressing interest to be involved.

In this format, GreenSkies focus group meetings and Round Table discussions, will enable more opportunity for research papers, B2B collaborations, resource and data sharing, creation of resources, activities to assist in community acceptance of key projects and innovations. The primary goal in using this format is to provide forums for focused discussions and action, take away key learnings from each focus group to shape the agenda for the annual GreenSkies Summit.
