Adelaide Women In Aviation/Aerospace Summit a success

The Women in Aviation/Aerospace Australia Summit was a success!

Held on 26 August 2025 at the Adelaide Townhall, the average rating was 4.3/5 with 92% of delegates saying they want the Summit to continue in Adelaide.

Delegates, the majority with a defence focused, advised that their key objectives in attending the event were:

• Networking
• Presenting opportunity

The most popular sessions were the keynote fireside chat with Australian Astronaut, Katherine Bennell-Pegg and the Menopause/Perimenopause panel. Other panels discussed culture in hiring practices (beyond quotas), the NextGenNetwork provided their perspective on the future of the industry and a reverse mentoring session between two friends who met in the A/AA mentoring program.
