PHD Candidate Schavana Phillips from RMIT University in Melbourne is investigating the effects of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) on performance. Her research is guided by two leading RMIT specialist academics on the supervisory team, Dr. Vinh Thai and Dr. Zaheed Halim. The research aims to examine the influence of Leadership and Culture on Performance but within the realm of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) which has not previously been studied and is perhaps one of the first studies that examines the linkage between CSR leadership, culture and performance.

I am a PhD Candidate at RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia and my PhD involves investigating the effects of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) on performance. My research is guided by two leading RMIT specialist academics on the supervisory team, Dr. Vinh Thai and Dr. Zaheed Halim. For your added information, all research in Australia involving humans is reviewed by an independent group of people called a Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC), this project being approved by the RMIT University HREC. This project will be carried out according to the National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Human Research (2007). This statement has been developed to protect the interests of people who agree to participate in human research studies.
