There are some people we’d all just love to know more about. Heroes, pilots, engineers and other professionals who don’t always get to step into the limelight, but deserve to. Women in aviation and aerospace have amazing journeys to share and inspire the next generation to get their wings.

In March Women in A/AA ran an awareness campaign to inspire girls to explore a career in Aviation, Aerospace, Space or STEM Images and videos have been posted on our social media sites (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn) which showcase the diverse appeal of careers in this field by highlighting how one can experience a comfortable lifestyle alongside achieving broader professional aims.

To encourage moments of positivity on International Women’s Day, the women in aviation/aerospace network of over 150 women and men adopted a Facebook Frame to celebrate their careers and welcome younger women to gain a serious interest.

Women in A/AA is pleased with the overwhelming support this campaign received this March, to celebrate International Women's Day 2018 and inspiring girls to embark on a career in aviation/aerospace/space/STEM! Thank you to our sponsors for working with us to make this campaign possible.
