2013 SUPER TRADE MISSION TO SOUTH EAST ASIA

The aviation sector in South East Asia is booming.

The Victorian Government – led by the Premier, Dr Denis Napthine and joined by a number of Cabinet Ministers, including the Minister for Aviation Gordon Rich-Phillips – is supporting a Super Trade Mission into this territory from 16-21 June.

Unlike other missions, we are proposing to take “specialised” streams that will focus on specific opportunities. The aviation streams are – training (pilots, engineers, management); airport and airline services (including design, software, automation) and engineering (including MRO, backshop operations, charter and GA maintenance). There is also a defence-related stream, if that is your specific interest. These streams will have opportunities in different countries as well as coming together at two functions, in Jakarta (hosted by the Premier) and in Singapore, hosted by the Minister for Aviation.
